Matt Jones is the Director of Non-Profit Advisory Services at Forvis Mazars, focused on destination and association consulting. He has over two decades of C-level experience helping businesses reach their next level of success.

Previously, Mr. Jones founded Directions Consulting Group, where he worked with organizations in both the private and public sectors, across the country and around the world. He also served as the COO/CFO for Visit Dallas where, under his tenure, the budget more than tripled and performance increased five-fold. In addition, he's served as Undersecretary for the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism under two Lieutenant Governors, where he helped manage the administration and strategy of the state’s libraries, museums, parks, arts, historic preservation, film, and tourism activities.

Mr. Jones received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and his Masters in Public Administration from Louisiana State University. He has also served on multiple association and service organization boards in the Dallas area.
